The San Juan Weavers Guild meets in Montrose, Colorado, serving fiber enthusiasts throughout the Western Slope. We embrace fiber artists and enthusiasts of all media - despite our name, we are not just for weavers. Spinners, felters, quilters, knitters, crocheters and all other "-ers" are welcome and will find something of value in our guild. And you don't have to be an official "artist" to be welcome. Beginners and fiber "newbies" will also find the group fun, interesting and friendly.

Members of the San Juan Weavers Guild gather to celebrate the art and craft of handweaving and handspinning. Through the Guild, members share a common thread with weavers and spinners everywhere. Guild activities stimulate and support creative efforts and provide educational opportunities for members and the community.

The San Juan Weavers Guild meets in Montrose, Colorado and includes textile addicts and fiber artists from all across the Western Slope of Colorado. Membership is open to everyone interested in textiles, and visitors are welcome at all meetings. Individual and family memberships are available.

"More Time to Weave" -  Our Guild cookbook contains a great assortment of easy and delicious recipes so you can get something on the table quickly then get back to your spinning or weaving. Many members are excited about participating in the annual fiber arts show and sale held every November. Many shoppers add this event to their Christmas shopping calendars, too - there are lots of unique and beautiful handmade items for a special gift.

Admission is free, everyone is welcome.

Regularly Scheduled Activities

Guild meetings	3rd Saturday of each month, Sept.-May	Regular guild meetings, September through May. No meetings in summer.
Coffee Break in Delta	2nd Tuesday of each month	Informal gathering  at a local coffee shop to socialize and talk over current projects. Everyone welcome.
Spin Day in Delta	1st Friday of each month	All levels of spinners from beginners to expert gather for a morning of spinning and a potluck lunch.
Annual Show & Sale	3rd Saturday in November	Members display their handspun, handwoven and handmade gift, decor and wearable items for sale to the public at this once a year event.
